Christmas Eve 2015

So grateful. So blessed

Caroling to Nel and our very own bagpipe caroler.

We used to go Caroling to Nel when she lived next door to Mum. When she moved to a nursing home village, Nel asked if we could visit her there. It was our pleasure. This was our second year singing to her in her new home and I hope we can make it a lasting tradition. I was so so grateful to have both Fletch and Gil there and even Tony this year.

Later that evening as we were watching the Christmas carols on the TV we heard bagpipes. I knew right away that it was brother Peter Cluff. He is in Hobart visiting his daughter and Tony mentioned how great it was to have him play the bagpipes to us when he was our home  teacher in Seven Mile beach so Peter thought he would continue the tradition and visit us in our new home. This was brilliant and very kind. It was a fair drive for him to come from Clifton Beach to our home on Christmas eve but we were so impressed and grateful.
We invited him and Fraser in to share some Glogg , a delicious warm spiced apple drink that Tony had bought us from Sweden. We had been saving our second bottle of it for Christmas Eve.
Our taste buds and hearts were warmed.
Thank you to all but  most especially for our Saviour Jesus Christ.
