Sydney to Hobart 2012

They did it !
Crazy rough weather,a broken radio (water damage ) one concussion almost needing an ear replacement (Ben)
But they did it !
Arrived before New Year's Day ,always a good thing and not too much of a broken yacht.
Boys will be boys huh !
We were proud of you Tone and Zach and crew.
Here's to next time ! ( don't tell Tony I said that ! )

Precious things

Our home is filled with precious things....
Like little hands and chubby knees.
A banana just in case and dinosaurs in the bath.
Time is moving too fast but I'm grateful for these cute reminders that little guys still live here.
And I'm loving these lazy holiday mornings.

Operation tire everyone out !

After a 2 week diet of candy canes and fizzy drink , these guys are climbing the walls ! :)
Combine that with late nights and daylight savings they seem to still be buzzing way past bed time.
So this morning I decided it was time for some serious exercise !! Hopefully they will be ready for sleep at bedtime tonight. Hmm. We will see.
My idea - the aquatic centre ! By foot ! :)
It turned out to be only a 45 -ish minute walk from our place :) Josh's little legs did so well.
I loved it :)
They played on the giant inflatables at the pool and Tony picked us up and drove us home! Fletch rode his bike - beat us home !
Fun !
More hardcore outdoor stuff planned for tomorrow !

You can kinda see how smoky the sky is. Bushfire smoke is going to take a while to clear.

Boys sail trip

The boys had a sail trip down the Derwent together. You would think that Tony needed a break from the yacht. Nope ! He was the first to suggest a sailing trip ! :)
They bundled off with fishing rods and roast dinners for an adventure down the Dentrecastaux !
They jumped of the boat , swang from a rope off the bow and spent a day at the beach making a raft with the fenders.
They had a GREAT time.

I had a rendezvous up north with a very special gal and her little princess...
