We're Sick of beng sick!
Ammon with bronchitis ,Gil, Joshie and i with the coughs,blocked noses,runny noses,up all night with baby who cant sleep coz of mucus in his throat and generally trying to get over the whole thing oh and sore throat blues....bleh!

Breakie in shanghai
These were yummy,a kind of bread with either herbs or granules of sugar on top.We walked just down the road from our hotel and bought these that were being cooked on the side of the road for about 5 cents each.there was lots of food to choose from and all the locals seemed to be lining up for it all but Tone said safe to just stick with these.he had tried them an yes they were yummy.
more of Josh's adoring fans.these girls were so beautiful looking and they loved him.we were eating ice cream in Haagen Daas and when they saw him they leapt from their seats and gooed and gaahed and photographed him till we left.(for the record Haagen Daas is never gonna beat Baskin Robbins...which they had in Beijing ... looove Baskin Robbins!!)

Finally some China photos

can you believe i didnt take my camera..was i crazy..probably!!! :)
thought it would be easier to just use the camera phone...it was really but well...yeah ...note to self ...never do that again :)

we waited while about 5 girls took turns taking photos of each other with Josh.they were so excited about it.Josh was being cool with the whole paparazzi situation!..and we know hes gorgeous..why wouldnt you want you photo with him :)

We went to the botanicals restaraunt for Mums Bday lunch.Everyone loved their food and enjoyed a little stroll in the winter gardens...lookng forward to seeing the ladybirds grow...oh man shoulda taken a photo...next time :)

Mama Mama Mia
what a movie!what a blast!
looooooved it
so much fun to see the movie last night with Muzz.
we saw the musical in Sydney a few years ago and then i took Tone coz it was so good.we all loved it...of course... and so Mum and i went to the movie last night for her birthday.We were groovin in our seats laughing so much and
"so... thank you for the music!!!"
Girls you MUST see it!...and your man will love it too...Tone was very kind to mind Josh while i went with mum coz we wanted to see it together too...maybe soon...gotta see Batman first :)

Olympic day
On the 8th of the 8th 2008 we are looking forward to getting settled in front of the TV to watch the opening ceremony..getting our dim sims and spring rolls organised...although the chinese dont actually eat this kind of food...hee.
the boys had free dress to celebrate the olympics and they were all decked out in their chinese stuff...even Josh had his "great wall of china" t-shirt on.
Ammon thought i said we were going to china...not simply wearing our China t-shirt.
Oh and check out Josh all dressed up as the water sports mascot.We had some photos taken of him in Qindao which is the city hosting the sailing etc..thought it appropriate he dress up as this little character being the sailing family that we are and the fact that we were staying in Qindao...i love those little mascots they are so cute...not as cute as Josh though.
so come on aussies and hoping for a safe and peaceful olympics.

friends
I could possibly have called this post"friends... and betrothals"..hee
sooooo nice to have Chelsea and Annette visit with Hattie and baby Rowan..
Josh and Rowan make a cute couple dont you think :)
And this morning Ammon Josh and i had a beautiful time at lauderdale beach with Miriam and girls...peaceful...even a little warm with the morning sun.This was our activity for the Mums playgroup enrichment group at church.. we've been having lots of fun activities and outings, im loving it!!new friendships made are precious and upliting...thanks guys.
Today we played at the park,fed the seagulls and made castles in the sand of course..while Miriam and i could chat and solve the problems of the world and i could feel intellectual...hee!
