Burnie Visit

what a wonderful time we all had.
We drove up especially for Anna-Belles birthday at the waterslide and it was the best birthday party yet.They hired out the slide so we all had turn after turn .
Then back to Keith and Michelles place for
cousins camping out
deeelicious ice cream sandwiches
day at the pool
Daves Noodles
Burnie park
catching up with Ev
and simply enjoying each others company
loved it guys

Happy Australia Day

we had a fun morning at the Boardwalk breakfast in Bellerive.
the boys rode their bikes down even Ammon made it all the way there and back(except for a tiny bit at the end)
Breakfats was a healthy..not:) and yummy ,sosos, hamburgers fresh bun, loads of tomato sauce of course and ice cream
We saw Scott Brennan olympic gold medalist rower
tried to get a family photo???
and played at the park on the way home(Josh loves to chase those seagulls).

Late Date

An awesome friend and Mum of 9 in our last ward shared with us a booklet she wrote called "Brotherly Love ".
One of the activities we love is the "late date "
One brother gets to stay up late with Mum and prepare a treat for the other brother.
We like to have a late date each holiday.
Gils turn last night and he came up with a great idea for Fletch, who loves choc ripple cake.
Gils idea..a choc ripple in the shape of the letter "F".
so... a yummy breakie and hopefully learning to love and serve one another :)

Fun times this Summer

Enjoying Evs lovely childsafe backyard and abundant water supply(a sigh of relief after bloomin tank water ..hee)
lots of cricket ..thanks to a great fun Dad
lots of singstar..even Josh dressed up for his performance
oh and Josh lovin the backyard too and his little upside down slide cubby which he crawls over to during each backyard explore...that or the cherry plums which have fallen on the ground which he loves to sample

water fights in the backyard...fun to have the sprinklers going...a novelty as we had water restrictions in Sydney.

celebs at the park

we love Princes park in Battery point and have spent some lovely mornings there lately..but it was fun to see Fast Ed from Better Homes and Gardens there.He was down filming a tourism Australia thing for the 3 months b4 Christmas and so decided to bring his wife and 2 children down too.He was at the park with his cute little son.
We had a good ole chat about Better Homes filming and his restaurant in sydney and asked him where he would recommend eating in Hobart town..he named a few including Marque 1V (so we went there for dinner the next night ...girls night...loved it )
Ange jumped in the photo and we told him we will buy his book...which he said will be out at Easter...cool huh.
