As Tony and the crew gear up for another bash at the rolex , I'm remembering the fun times we had this time last year.

Christmas Carolling

We went carolling for family night. Twas fun to share and feel the joy of the season. Warms the heart :)
One lady actually cried !
Another said it was the first time in her 85 years that carol singers had come to her door.

Hobart to Sydney

Tony is taking the yacht up to Sydney for ye ole Boxing day race !
Gil is going with him.
Dinners have been prepared for the trip up.
Sails have been checked for holes.
Here's hoping they will have fair winds and a wonderful adventure and that I can think of lovely things like seeing Gil again on dry land ! Oh and Tony too!! :)

A night on the river

Thank you to a sweet friend for inviting Tone and I to her birthday party.'Twas a lovely evening with a bunch of really good sorts !
After a day full of crazy weather extremes , the river was calm , even millpond at times - an answer to prayers offered throughout the day.
A present for a special 40 th birthday.
Then to wrap it up - hot chocolates on the lounge at the Quarry !
