The backyard

Just after we moved into Montagu Manor, I noticed that the block behind us was ..... Empty!!!! Yep. Eeeeek. A whole block of land ... Spare ... Waiting ... For our boys to play in !  I said a silent prayer asking that if possible could we have that land one day. I told Tony about it. He wasn't interested :)  I asked the man behind us who owned the land if he would be interested in selling it. He said he might be but nothing eventuated. Until one day I spied 2 " For Sale" signs in the street. One was for the little house adjacent to our house and the other was for the vacant block. More eeeeeek !! I quickly expressed to Tony how we needed to look at buying our new backyard. Turns out that we have bought them both. We are renting out the little house to a lovely lady who has flowers in her windows already and the backyard is being enjoyed by our boys for soccer, cricket and camping adventures. 

I feel so grateful. Wishes do come true and prayers are answered.
