What am I lining up to see ?

I lined up with the rest of them to see the Mona Lisa. It was an amazing moment -to stand there and actually see with my own eyes a famous painting that has attracted so much attention.
Then on the left hand wall I spied another work of art. It stopped me in my tracks. As I surveyed it I wished that it was the one I had lined up for , waited with anticipation and excitement to see, jostled for a photo with , travelled across the world just to see.
There was no waiting to see this painting , noone obstructing my view of it. It was hung high on the wall , in full view of us all. We were all free to look at it - if we would.
I wished that we would all turn to face Him. To reverence Him and ponder all that He taught us and did for us.
Thats what life's like huh ! We get distracted from the real purpose.

One day I will join the line - to fall at his feet and plead for His mercy.
I know He lives and that the sacrifice He made for us on the cross will save us all.
I stand all amazed !
