Family night watching Pan together.

Its been a nautical themed couple of days :) Elder Ballards quote about the good ship Zion for our short and sweet lesson + Pan at the movies and then dinner at the Drunken Admiral tonight (for some of us anyway )

Up up and away

Its a crazy long flight to Frankfurt but I was happy to finally see "Into the woods" and I began reading President Monsons biography " To The Rescue" which I am really enjoying.  

Lucky for us we were given a business class upgrade for the last Dubai to Frankfurt leg. Wow !! So exciting to be called to board the plane first and then once on board take a right and walk up the stairs to business class. We could access the bar at the back which had drinks and yummy canapes available. I think the best part is being able to lie down in our seats for a sleep and then enjoy a delicious 3 course meal. 

I had to photograph my spinach ( and raviloli ) soup. Since when did I enjoy eating something like that?(  Hope Mum doesnt read this hehe ) There was a even view from the loo ! Soooooo grateful. 

Bon Voyage

I love these little people and it was VERY hard to pack up and head off without them but as Tony said its good and important for us to spend time together as well. 

We are veeeeery grateful for the grandmas , sisters and friends that will help make this trip possible for us. 

So auf weidersehen and au reviour 

for we are off to Europe afar. 

Skipping school

Usually its dry and dusty under the gum trees out at the farm. Today there was snow almost to sea level in Hobart town so Tony took these guys out for some taboganning and snowman fun. What a great Dad. Lucky for them coz I would have sent them to school :) 

Fun memories and a once a double decade type  experience  for Hobart. 

Grateful that Tony took the time to take them out there - while I cleaned and washed clothes and washed some more clothes and regained some of my "woman who lived in a shoe " sanity :) 

Back to Birches Bay

Just made it before it closed this year. 

Twas our 3rd year enjoying it with the Davies cousins and we had another fab time. 

We missed Tim and his amazing bush sculptures but hopefully he will join us next year with Tony to !!!

An afternoon drive to Sandy Bay park and beach was the perfect remedy for winter holiday cabin fever. 

The sun , breeze and waves calmed and soothed our souls. 

Then we came home to enjoy the lasagne we had made together earlier in the day.
